This message is about the focus on being positive that I feel society gives us.  The story relates to the famous response to Tinkerbell question “But what if I fall?”.  Society’s response is “but what if you fly”.  I feel differently about this because it is OK to fall.  Everybody falls.  It isn’t always easy to be positive and acknowledging that it is OK to fall is part of a real response as opposed to a toxically positive expectation.  This message continues up the sleeve.

Falling is part of life.  What you do next is open the parachute and think.  The view of this is important if you are feeling overwhelmed.  The view can terrify you; it can be beautiful, wild, expansive, scary, too big.  The important thing is to open your eyes and look.  Feeling the soft cotton fabric and flocked applique will give you a sensory reminder to be calm.
